Hello jblock,

For the 2002 House of Representatives elections, I have located a
database which gives the total votes for the Republican candidate and
for the Democratic candidate for each of the 435 Congressional
Districts.

CNN: Election Results - 2002 House of Representatives
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2002/pages/house/full.html

There are two different methods to arrive at the results you are
requesting by using the database:

As you note, all of the states are listed including their respective districts.

By clicking on "updated results" for each district you will get the
total votes for the Republican and the Democratic candidates.

For example, I clicked on "updated results" for Alabama 01. The total
votes in that district are:

(R) Bonner 107,990
(D) Belk 67,438
(L) Coffee 2,956

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2002/pages/states/AL/H/01/race.html

For Alabama 02:

(R) Everett (incumbent) 129,208
(D) Woods 55,483
(L) Shackelford 2,948

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2002/pages/states/AL/H/02/race.html

An alternative method would be to pick a state from the scroll down
menu situated below "Search for a specific race". You can then select
the district you want from the scroll down menu next to it. Then do
the same procedure as above.
