I am trying to establish that Maria cosway 
artist did indeed paint a Miniature Portrait of Lady Jenny Beresford -
1785 .  If this can be established it is worth  cosiderable to me.  I
need the answer within two days.

There is a connection of sorts between Maria Cosway's husband, and one
George Charles Beresford -- do you know if this is the same Beresford
family as Lady Jenny B?

In fact, any additional information you have on the people in
question, or the portrait -- or anything else that might offer a clue
to a researcher -- would be much appreciated.

The only information I have is that the portrait is signed M. Cosway - 1785
and is identified as Lady Jenny Beresford - if her husband had a
connection to Richard Cosway it is quite possible that Maria could
have been granted a commission to execute the miniatre. It would
depend on the connection and the whereabouts of Maria in 1785 
(etc,etc)
