I would like to track stocks using a visual type software that is
inexpensive or free. I have seen one that changes colors as the stock
improves/declines. Possibly there are others that provide good
information at a glance so to speak. Additionally I would like to get
a source for promising stock sectors and start doing research while
tracking them. They should be capable of providing enough movement to
learn, not overly predictable yet interesting fluctuations. Being able
to see sectors tghat I can initially investigate and reduce to a few I
find interest in is important. I have a account with e-trade but would
be willing to change/add another if needed.

The best free real time stock tracker to the best of my knowledge is
Medved Quote Tacker. Ameritrade offers a free Streamer, with a real
time chart as well for it's clients. Hope this helps.
