Hi, I would like to know how much better are the food prices that restaurants get from food/restaurant distributors than the average consumer gets from a big box store or a supermarket? Obviously, the margins are different per item and restaurants will get volume pricing, but roughly how much cheaper is produce for a restaurant than for me? Is it the same? 10% cheaper or 75% cheaper? Which items are much cheaper? Meat? Dairy products? Which are the almost the same? Looking forward to seeing some good research. Thanks, vlad |
