I need an animated gif of Jazz being thrown out the door from the
"Fresh Prince of Bel Air"

Blindfolded, I will save the jazz gif onto a floppy disk and put it in
a time capsule.

Then, in 100 years, future generations will know the wonder that is
the jazz gif

Just to clarify - the Animated gif needs to be from the intro to the
show where Uncle Phil throws Will's friend Jazz out the front door.

Hey there, Deleatur -

Could you perhaps clarify... does this particularly need to be in the
animated gif file format (.GIF)? The reason I ask is because I can
definitely produce a small video file of the scene, in .AVI, .MPEG,
and whatnot - but it would be rather difficult to create an animated
GIF of reasonable size and reasonable quality. Does file format
particularly matter to you?

Looking forward to your response.

excellent.
well, avi or mpeg would be good, but a gif would be better - at around
320*240 pixels if possbile
It doesn't have to be excellent quality, as long as you can see what
is happening.

I wouldn't put it one a floppy.. the lifespan of a floppy is 5-10
years max. You'd be better putting it on a high-quality CD which is
rated for upto 100years.. and even then put two in a seal them with
plastic around the case.

Floppies won't be around much longer 5 years tops.. How many 5 1/2
inch floppy drives do you see today?

If you have the AVI you can convert it to animated GIF using a program
called CoffeeCup GIF Animator 6.1. Or just search at download.com for
other programs.
