I have a web site which uses JavaScript and nested CLASS/SPAN tags to
open and close navmenus. I am getting a script error on the page and
I'd like to have someone look at it, tell me what's wrong with it, and
provide code that fixes it. The page, while publicly accessible, is
confidential and I would need to upload its URL privately to you. Of
course, your general findings can be published here.

Hello again, jhabley:
I can take a look if you want, you can upload the URL into a text file to:

http://www.xpde.com/upload.php

And I will take a look.

Regards.

Hi, jhabley-ga:

From my understanding of the Google Answers' Terms of Service:

http://answers.google.com/answers/termsofservice.html

it is not allowed for Customers and Researchers to communicate privately.

You might wish to begin with the text of the script error. A bit of
"divide and conquer" testing should lead to identification of exactly
which script(s) are producing the error, and with that you could
simply post the Javascript code which needs fixing.

regards, mathtalk-ga

Hi Mathtalk -- I've asked for the general info to be posted publicly,
so this should be fine. The problem-HTML is quite lengthy, though, so
it probably wouldn't make much sense to post here anyway.
