Dear trup-ga;
Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting
question. There isn?t a great deal out there on the internet about
?Breidt's Brewery?, as you called it, but I did manage to find a few
interesting tidbits of information which you might find valuable:
Peter Breidt Brewing Company was a dominant brewery located at 600
Pearl Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey, brewing beers and ales from 1867
to 1951. Here you will find a 1939 service tray advertisement for the
Peter Breidt Brewing Company which, according to its price, appears to
be a relatively sought after collectible.

This appears top be the majority that can be obtained on the internet
and try as I might I found no references to Peter Breidt himself. I
highly recommend that you contact the New Jersey Historical Society
for more information. I happen to know that they have on hand an image
(if not the original) of a 19th Century lithograph of the Peter Breidt
Brewing Company and you can take a look at the building as it once
appeared in it?s hey-day.
