Anyone know how to resolve this problem?
I have MS Word open and I open a .doc webpage in IE6.
When I leave the .doc webpage (either by clicking on "Back" or exiting
IE6), I get the following application error:
The instruction at "0x300fe304" referenced memory at "0x000000".
The memory could not be "read".
Then MS Word crashes.
So, how can I avoid/fix/resolve this error?

Hi,

Are you by any chance using Word 2000 and does your document contain
Japanese characters?

Thanks.

I'm using Word 97 SR-2.
No Japanese characters whatsoever; only regular ol' English text.

Thank-you endo-ga.
I do not know why I could not find that in the MS db myself.

My company's tech support came up and provided me with an alternative
solution: wiping my profile clean (and then copying Favorites, etc,
from a backup of my profile).
This solved the problem.

I did not download the Macro Vulnerability patch, but reading the MS
db text there, it will be what I do if this problem resurfaces.

Again, endo-ga, thanks.
