Provide a brief history of the mergers, coalitions, and amalgamations
in the Progressive Conservative party of Canada (sometimes called the
PCs or the Tories). I thought I heard it's been through five or six
mergers with different parties but I can only think of one of two
times in its early history (besides the merger vote going on right now
with the Canadian Alliance party).
