I'm looking for the complete quote by a well-known Marine that has the

Thanks for the great question. Having served in the Corps for 9 years,
I was awestruck at how elusive this answer was. I was however, able to
finally locate the most likely source of the old quote :

Quote From : Lt. Gen. Chesty Puller (one of the most famous Marines)
When Said  : Unknown. My educated guess - his 'forced' retirement.

Actual Quote
"I pledge to you 110 percent of my courage, compassion, my commitment
and my conviction. Continue to march on."

My memory recalls learning this quote on numerous occasions. It was
(and is) generally accepted in the Corps to pass down history in
verbal format and accept the information as valid. Unfortunately this
quote is made obscure by his more famous quotes -

Please excuse my double documentation of the same quote. I cut and
pasted the quotes from each respective site, and forgot to change the
last one. It should read :

"So they've got us surrounded, good! Now we can fire in any direction,
those *expletive* won't get away this time!"
