I am glad the link I posted was helpful. I have reposted it below,
along with two other items that may be useful to you.
The best biographical information I was able to find was on the site
of Lituanus, the Lithuanian Quarterly Journal of Arts and Sciences:
LITUANUS: THE ART OF ALBINAS ELSKUS
http://www.lituanus.org/1993_1/93_1_02.htm
As mentioned in the article above, short biographies and reproductions
of the work of Elskus and other Lituanian artists appear in a book
entitled "Lithuanian Artists in North America." If you are interested
in purchasing this book, here's a comparative search that will enable
you to get the best price:

There is a very brief bio on this page, in connection with the
promotion of Elskus's book, "The Art of Painting on Glass," which has
been republished:
"Albinas Elskus first became acquainted with stained glass while
studying at the Institute of Decorative Arts in his native Lithuania.
After World War II, he studied architecture at the Technische
Hochschule in Darmstadt, Germany, and painting at the École des Arts
et Métiers in Freiburg.
After arriving in the United States in 1949, he completed the
four-year apprenticeship program of the Stained Glass Association of
America in Chicago and New York.
A resident of New York City, Mr. Elskus was part owner of Durhan
Studios, Inc., an instructor in painting and drawing at Fordham
University, a stained-glass artist and frequent exhibitor whose works
are part of many private and public collections."
