I understand your plight! Even when young and thin, I was always
disproportionate and have always had a difficult time getting clothes
to fit right!
I have located several places where you can get custom made, or
semi-custom made clothing. Some of these sites are overseas, but
conduct annual visits to the US. Some sites are rather costly, with a
few being more reasonable. Thompson's sells ?roomier? off the rack
clothing. I was unable to find a personal professional clothing
advisor---I also don?t know where you live. I would think a
professional advisor would have a professional hourly rate,
effectively raising the price of your garments! Many of the listed
merchants have someone who can advise you; Men?s Wearhouse and
Davanti?s both advertise ?personal assistance?.
