Hi---

I am looking for an item that I THINK I saw in Ann Landers about 20 years ago!

Item was 2 small totems that were designed for bedside table use-- one
for me and one for my wife.

When either my wife or I were "in the mood"(!)--- we could change
something on the totem-- to let the other know ----and if the feeling
was mutual-- she could also change something-- and then the sparks
could fly!

Thanks very much

I haven't been able to find your totems, but here's an idea you might
find interesting:

"I have a few suggestions that might help get you out of the dog house
and back in the bedroom....There is an old wives tale (no, I didn't
make this up) that states that there should be a candle holder placed
on each side of the bed. If he is 'in the mood' he lights his, if she
is 'in the mood' she lights hers. However we all know that he would
need his own spare bunch of candles!"
