One of my coworkers sadly lost her brother, and in an oversight they buried him while he was still wearing a silver pendant that she wanted to keep as a memorial of him. She really wants to find another one like it, but I've exhausted my research capability and come up blank. The silver pendant was one of those little guys where you pull the string and his arms and legs flail out - she thinks it's called a "humpelmann" (sp?) in German. Since I don't know exactly what it's called (I've tried "jumping man," "dancing man," "that thing where you pull the string and the dude's legs flail out"), regular google/froogle/ask jeeves searches have not been helpful. Any ideas? | |

I have not been able to find a pendant or charm of this type, but it might help to know that one name for this kind of toy is "Jumping Jack": http://www.oldworldnutcrackers.com/jumping-jacks.html |

...and the German word is "Hampelmann". Maybe this helps at least a little bit. Regards, Scriptor |
