Absolut Insurance appears to be a Czech that is licensed as an
"offshore insurer" in Guernsey.

I may have located the name of the parent company of Absolut, however
the response to my confirmation email may be delayed as it is late in
the day where it was recieved. I am waiting a response from this
knowledgeable source just to be certain I am correct. Perhap I will
know more by tomorrow.

My confirmation email arrived and the source, bound by confidentiality
laws, is unable to divulge the shareholder information for Absolute.
It did however provide contact details for a second source who they
said would definitely be able to supply you the information if you
make an inquiry with them.

Would you like the contact information for this agency as an answer?

who to contact and how to contact them by phone or by mail. If this is

I am trying to find out more about captive insurers with details of
their parent company or their managers.  As example I asked about
Absolut Insurance, Guernsey.  As an example Absolut Insurance may be a
capive of a large corporation but is managed by a large insurance
company.

The source I can place you in touch with is supposed to be able to
divulge the information you are after. This comes from a seemingly
reliable source IN GUERNSEY who should know such things as a practical
matter of their business.

In addition, I found an official statement from a regulatory agency
dated 1999 that mentions several Guernsey "captives" and says in part,
"Among new captives with UK parents is...Absolut...owned by..."

Does this document combined with my local Guernsey source for
additional information about the company seem to answer your question?
