I was watching a do it yourself tv program and I saw an ad for precut, predesigned tape inserts, shaped to fit the 4 corners of a glass pane that are to be masked for painting of the window. Shaped like an arrow, 90' square into the corner. Then aply masking tape down the pane to the next corner. Really fast AID to mask off window glass. Where Can I get the corner inserts?

Greetings Masmacon: The product you seek is called Quick Corners and made by Duck brand tapes. It has been featured on HGTV. "DuckŪ brand Quick Corners are pre-shaped corners for windows and delicate surfaces that make it easier and faster to mask off 90-degree angles. After the edge is taped off with a painter's tape the painting can begin." From http://www.duckbrandonhgtv.com/tapes/ More about it at http://www.duckproducts.com/products/detail.asp?catid=1&subid=2&plid=504 Ace Hardware, Lowe's and Wal-Mart are listed on that page as retailers. The website http://www.henkelca.com offers a search for their products at http://www.henkelca.com/scripts/mqlocator.exe?link=find_duck - select Quick Corners for Windows from the drop-down menu and enter your area information. It will show you where to buy Quick Corners in your area (or any other of their many products). I entered just my state name and recieved results for my town from their results list. Good luck with your window painting and thanks for asking this interesting question! I'll be buying this product in the future!
