I can provide a link for a mod-chip installer in the UK if you like -
A mod-chip will cost Ł30-80 depending on the installation method you
choose.

As stated in the comments there are no remote-control hacks that work
with this model (and very few for any Panasonic players).

1. Read the ads at the very top, click a link, buy a new one that
already will play them.

2. Geeky Method: "Rip" it on your PC with AnyDVD running to save it
Region Free, and burn a new one.

3. buy from here http://www.codefreedvd.com/ they have region free
players for L149 or Euro $199.
