i had a check retrned on oct 28th they notified me and i picked it up
nd paid a 20.00 rtn ck fee to city hall as iy was my water bill, and i
needed to find out what was happening onthe next day the bank states
they redeposited the check  and returned it again another 3o.oo from
bank bank has now collected 60.00 for overdraft charges and city hall
20.00 plus 45.03 the amt of check, how can the bank redosit when the
check is in my possession? on t5he 6th of nov 5 checks were returned e
videntaly kept in bank redeposited on 6th so as bank is now getting
60.00 per check how can a check go in on the 5th returned on the 6th
redeposited on the 6th and returned again on the7th either i am stupid
or something is wrong are the banking practices being changed how can
this happen i wound up paying over 600.00 in overdrafts and i am still
wondering what hit me

This sounds crazy.

You must first write a POLITE letter to your bank, simply asking for
an explanation.

The best thing is to hand the letter in to the bank and get a receipt
for it - otherwise they might ignore it.

When you get the bank's response, post the details here.

I am sure that someone should then be able to advise you.
