It might help if you could identify the tournament or match location
(Berlin?) or the opening employed (Lopez, Indian, etc.?)

I am very sorry I'm unable to do this,its a problem question set in
The TIMES(uk) newspaper on 6/12/03,and its really got me foxed!!!I do
have the problem if thats a help but I d'ont think it will?

In case it was a notable game, it might be described in German chess
books. I will have a look for it at the library.

It sounds as though it might be featured in a collection of end game
studies, although it doesn't appear in any of the books that I have at
hand.
