Many firms use the Balanced Scorecard methodology to manage their
business. I am looking for a more granular look at how this works
within a company; specifically as to what measures mught be used to
manage Alliances for a High tech Software company. I would liek to
find a MS Powerpoint presentation that shows how a Software firm
manages its alliances via the Balanced Scorecard.

Hello paulascential-ga,

Thanks for posting an interesting question. You seem to be asking for
several discrete criteria to all be present in a single presentation,
and I want to make sure I'm searching for the right type of document.

You need an existing slide-show style presentation:

--in Powerpoint (would a PDF version of powerpoint slides do the trick?)

--with Balanced Scorecard methods and metrics as the main theme

--with a high degree of granularity

--explicit focus on strategic alliances

--and all in a software company.

Do I have it right? And are any factors more or less critical than others, here?

Are you looking for several presentations that meet these criteria (if
so, how many?) or would a single high-quality presentation do the
trick?

And lastly, could you have a look at this document:

http://www.psmsc.com/UG2003/Presentations/20SilverFinal.pdf

and let me know how close to the mark it is for what you need.

Thanks.

the attached presentation did not hit the mark because it was not a
software company; nor did it define the type of measurements used to
measure effectiveness of alliances or how they determined that these
were the best measurements.

I could use at least 5 presentations
the more critical componenst are the actual measurements for
measureing Alliance effectiveness and how they determined them ....
within a software firms

Thanks for the clarification. I haven't yet found the types of
materials you're looking for, but I'll continue to have a look. In
the mean time, perhaps another researcher will have better/quicker
success in locating the best materials for you.
