RESEARCHER QUALIFICATIONS: GA researcher with 1st hand successful online marketing experience. Please submit "clarification" for other researcher options. RESEARCH TIP: Add'l $15.00 for 5-star solution. MARKETING GOAL: I am looking for productive, online marketing methods (low-cost to no-cost) that I can personally deploy and manage. The goal is to simply INTRODUCE the availability of our high-performance wireless broadband services to business IT and MIS decision makers - If they have a high-performance broadband need... they will take action. BACKGROUND: Wireless ISP provides high-performance wireless broadband services (full symmetrical speeds equivalent to T1's through OC-3's featuring low latencies of 8-24 ms and high security encryption). BENEFITS: If an organization is > 1/2 mi from fiber, our solution offers 130% to 150% greater cost efficiency. SERVICE COVERAGE AREA: This project requires HIGHLY LOCALIZED TARGETED MARKETING... exclustive to the South Bay area (south of San Franciso), the Silicon Valley basin. CURRENT MARKETING: - Direct phone calls to businesses... have successfully received the names of the IT and MIS decision makers upon request... and I simply leave a courteous and professional 44-second voicemail message (this is slow, labor intensive and tedious); - Have successfully used newspaper display advertising in the major local newspaper; - DSLReports.com has multiple positive reviews and comments that have generated new accounts. http://www.dslreports.com/comment/1434/39597 http://www.dslreports.com/reviews/2384 - The Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal rhas ecently published an article about our company: http://search.news.yahoo.com/search/news/?c=&p=etheric+networks INSTRUCTIONS: - Do not LOCK question for more than (2) hours without providing the courtesy of an abstract of your high-tech marketing background and a brief proposal, or answer will be disqualified. - Please fully detail research methodologies and results including but not limited to LINKS and configuration of actual search engine "key words" searches; |

Just a side comment not specific to your lead-generation methodology: You may be doing a better job of generating leads than you know, but turning people off once they get to your website. It's the videoconferencing page that comes up first in a Google search. The user interface on this page is problematic, even on high speed. It takes a while to load (In fact, I stopped the loading because I got frustrated.) Using IE version 6.0, the page loaded with all of the side navigation skewed and the real player windows automatically expanded to over 600 pix wide each. Super kludgy. And the neon green makes me think of my Dad's old monitor on his IBM XT computer. The page width of the content changes on almost every page and misaligns with your top graphic. At a minimum, I suggest programming some CSS or at least a defined page width and sticking to it. You've invested in Flash. I suggest investing in using it in a way that adds to the user experience in a quality way rather than using it for sound and motion in areas where that does not communicate value. A UI like that of Broadcom or Cisco or the like may work better and may give you a higher-end value perception (something that's necessary if people are going to pay you $120 a month.) Please know that although this comment is a bit on the negative side, you do offer a valuable service, and I do think that your offering resonates. I wish you much success in the future. About me: Not a google researcher 25 years as a certified geek 20 years in product marketing for media and high tech 15 years of programming for fun 8 years in UI design 7 years in web UI design 3 years in wireless marketing One last note on a small detail... put a TM after your company name, not a (c). If it's a registered trademark, put an (R). For more information on the use of (c), TM and (R), go to uspto.gov |

Thank you for the side-note comment Margi-GA. Unfortunately, I have no control of the website that you reviewed. Instead, I set-up a straightforward content-driven, shadow website: www.etheric-broadband.info which I use for marketing... no one has yet asked me, "Where's the beef?" Thank you again... I have passed on your comments. The real issue is: HOW TO LOCAL ONLINE TARGET MARKET? |
