(This is a Reposted Question, ID# 273712)
The Current Insignia of Rank of the Police Forces of the nation of Andorra.
Additional Details:
Insignia of Rank are additions to a uniform that distinguish the
wearer's rank,(e.g. Sergeant,Lieutenant,Captain,etc.) Insignia of Rank
can take many different forms, shapes, colors and sizes. (e.g.
chevrons,bars,stars,etc.)
How I'd like to see my question answered:
Either through an illustration of all of their Insignia of Rank (with
colors described, etc), or through a clear description. (By a clear
description, I mean with certain details like shape, color, number, etc.
For example, it could be like this: Sergeant (3 gold chevrons, point
up); (Lieutenant (1 gold,five-pointed star);Captain (3
gold,five-pointed stars), etc.
Where the heck is Andorra???:
Andorra is a beautiful little country, located in the Pyrenees
Mountains between France and Spain!! Andorra is also a member of the
United Nations. (Spain and France have responsibility for the defense
of Andorra, but Andorra has their own Police Forces.)
I'd really appreciate getting this question accurately answered! Thank you. |

Hi Silviare!
Kitemaker here!!
I have contacted the Andorran Police via their website some time back,
and I did actually get a positive reply from them. However, somebody
must have "dropped the ball" along the way and my information that I
wanted was probably lost in the shuffle.
As for the color picture that you linked me to, with all of the
patches, badges and insignia it contained, I've visited it a few times
to try to extract all of the information I could. Seeing the rank
insignia was encouraging, but I couldn't get any farther as I couldn't
deduce from those 3 examples as to what all the rest of their rank
insignia looked like.
I really appreciate all the time and effort you're putting into this,
and I'm looking forward to hearing from you again. Thank you.
