I am the lead research assistant for Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback
Church in Lake Forest, CA and have been asked to find information
about the top 10 most successful tours (be they book tours, speaking
tours, concert tours, etc).  Specifically, what made them so
successful - what can we learn from/imitate in planning a tour for
Pastor Rick.  I have a dozen or so researchers working on this and
we're coming up dreadfully short (we typically research sermon and
book topics...this is way out of our league...I think). We're not even
really sure where to start  So...we turn to the experts.  If you can
respond in the next couple of days that would be really awesome!!

By "most successful," do you mean "most lucrative," or "attended by
the most people," or are you using another criterion?
