Please describe the apparent origins of German baroque compositional processes, styles, and structures in the German Renaissance, and then concentrate on the more significant contributions of German composers to Western high art music c. 1600- c. 1780. Focus primarily on specific composers such as, Praetoruis, Schein, Schutz, Hammerschmidt, Zelenka, J.S. Bach, Telemann, C.P.E. Bach and W.F. Bach. Please be sure to contextualize the compositions that are chosen, to reflect their larger socio-cultural contexts. Thank you... | |
