After I set the text size to "largest" in Microsoft Internet Explorer, it defaults to "medium" the next time I open Explorer. How do I set the default text size to "largest"? |

Hi jerryone, Follow these steps and your text size will default to the size you want: 1. Open your registry like this: Run> regedit>OK 2. Save your registry if you haven't done so already. 3. Open up the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\International\Scripts\3\IEFontSize. 4. Change the REG_BINARY value from 02 00 00 00 ("medium" text size) to 04 00 00 00 for "largest" or to whatever you want (see below). 5. Open up IE to see if it looks the way you want it, and if so, you're done. Just in case, here are the keys for the text size you want: 00 00 00 00 = smallest 01 00 00 00 = small 02 00 00 00 = medium 03 00 00 00 = large 04 00 00 00 = largest Search strategy: None. I needed to change mine once and remembered the way. I hope that helps. If you have any questions regarding my answer please don't hesitate to ask before rating. Best regards, rainbow-ga |
