i'd like to find a list of companies in san diego, ca that transfers 8mm film (specifically super 8 film) to a digital format. they must be able to scan the film frame by frame, not just in real-time. they must be able to save the digital data in avi format onto a firewire hard drive that i provide. |

since i'll be sending in my firewire hard drive to the facility, i'd prefer to go to some place that is local. thanks. |

I'd recommend Pro8mm (www.pro8mm.com) who specialise in exactly that. They are based in LA, which obviously isn't local, but isn't as far odd as Houston. Hope that helps... Regards, Sycophant-ga |
