I am looking for at least 10 different Swimming sessions for a weekly
1 hour swim (between 2500m and 4000m) to provide me with varied
sessions and interesting training.

If anyone can provide me with an online resource, or actual sessions
it would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi haram,

I have found a swimming association website where you can enter your
swimming level, the stroke or type of workout you want, and the
duration of your swim in minutes. Then it links you to workout
sessions contributed by other users.

One example from paramters I plugged in would be:

Workout: fun
Ability Level: Lap Swimmer
Type: Distance Free
Course: SC Meters
Duration: 60 Minutes
Distance: 2400

---------------------------------------------------
Set Category...Set Description.........Set Intervals
-----------------------------------------------------
Warm-up......4 lengths any stroke stretch...5 mins
Pre-Set......backstroke 500 m..............12-13 mins
Main Set.....8 x 150 m free...............150 m / 2:40 mins
...........50 m backstroke between....backstroke 50m/1:20 mins
.............150's
Pull Set.....pull buoy ..........250 m 5 minutes (50 m/min)
Kick Set.....100 m.........................easy

Total = 2400 SC Meters

---------------------------------------------

When I plug in Lap Swim, All Levels, All types of workout, I get over
200 different workouts ranging in duration from 30 minutes to 120
minutes. Most are 60 minutes or longer.

Are you interesting in the link to this site as your answer?

Here you go:

SWIM INFO - FIND A WORKOUT

You'll find the best variety of workouts if you leave the WORKOUT TYPE
selection set for ALL TYPES.

Enjoy your swimming!

haram - i'd respectfully suggest that you need to name your city,
otherwise no researcher's going to be able to find resources for you.

Punzel - I am not looking for anything in an actual City - I am just
looking for details of possible swim sets to do - on my own - any
where - eg Monday I did

warm up:
100 swim
100 drill
100 kick
100 swim

Main Set

100 swim (10 secs rest)
200 Swim (20 secs rest)
300 swim (30 secs rest)
400 swim (40 secs rest)
300 swim (30 secs rest)
200 swim (20 secs rest)
100 swim

swim down

100 kick
100 swim

total: 2200m

hence - I am looking for another 10 sets so that I don't bore myself
to death - make sense?

thanks

Haram
