I require links to contact details for as many hospitals as possible
in the following countries:
Afghanistan

I also need for each country the number of hospitals in each country.
Note: I do _not_ require a full list in the answer. Links to avaliable
sources on the web are prefered. Please include with each link the
number of hospitals contained in that source.
I'm sure that some of these will be easier than others (infact some
may be extremely difficult). If you want to do a subset then post a
clarification request and we can sort it out. |

Hi josh_robb,
I want to let you know of my progress so far.
After 6 hours, I have only been able to locate 2 comprehensive
listings: Lebanon and UAE
The UAE directory has the listings of approximately 700 clinics
&hospitals together, categorized by location. The contact information
available is name, PO box, city, telephone and fax numbers. If you
want I can extract only the hospitals.
For Lebanon, I have found an authoratative source for its 162
hospitals. However, you will need to click on each hospital to obtain
the contact information, which is quite detailed.
For the reamining 4 or 5 countries I have worked on, I have obtained
listings, but feel they are not very comprehensive, so I am still
searching.
As you mentioned, some of these countires are going to be very
difficult, if at all possible, to locate such listings/directories.
Let me know how you would me to proceed from here.

Thanks for taking this one for me.
I'm not entirely clear how much information you have got from your
comments below. You have UAE and Lebanon but also some data for 4 or 5
other countries? How much? The answer to this kind of detirmines the
next step.
If you tell me which countries you want to answer (partialy or
completly) then I can cancel this question and post a new one (or
several if you want to research any you haven't looked at yet - which
i hope you will). How does that sound?

The health care system is fully controlled by the Government of Kuwait
through the Ministry of Public Health (MPH). The medical services
system is decentralized into six geographic regions with one
government hospital per region:
- Al Adan Hospital

The above countries are as comprehensive as possible after exhausting
the available resources on the internet.
Most of the countries you have requested do not have an official list
of hospitals. In fact, most hospitals are found on individual
websites. Compiling this information together is the reason this has
taken as long as it has.
