The chemicalls used and the process to modify tetracyclines into
Chemically modified tetracyclines or (CMTs ). Please describe the
process of each of the following: CMT1, CMT2, CMT3, CMT4,CMT5, CMT6,
CMT7, CMT8 ,CMT9, CMT10

The chemical formu
las and proccess which chemicaly modified tetracyclines made.the
antibiotic is removed in each of these proccess forming what is
abbrev. as CMTs ,I need the way  CMT-1 ,CMT-2, CMT-3, CMT-4, CMT-5
CMT-6, CMT-7, CMT-8 , CMT-9 ,CMT-10 are made in the lab.They are made
from tetracycline.They are in  "The Chemistry of tetracyclines" ,ch.
6,at pages 211 and pages3,4,10,and 12

Hi -

The fact that the chemically modified tetracyclines are numbered the
way that you describe them (ie CMT1, CMT2, etc) suggests to me that
they correspond to a table which lists the modifications.  If you
could post the full name of the modified tetracycline, we might be
able to help tell you how they are modified.

I am having the same problem,I have come to a dead end every time I
tried to find the related chemicalls which are used for each of the
CMTs othe then the tetracyclines?Some where there has to be
information on this because the  CMTs are in experimental state as we
speak,I have even tried looking into the patents but to no avail yet.
