I have $8,000 worth of private (non-Federal) student loans. I'd like
to consolidate them to reduce the interest rate and stretch out the
repayment schedule. The banks who gave me the loans won't consolidate
them, but they will allow me to consolidate with someone else. What
lender gives the best interest rates for private loan consolidation?
(Up-front fees are also an issue.)
