Dear leonid52,

Do you need the Hebrew version? I have found sources for the French
translation of this book; so if this would also be useful for you,
please let me know.

Regards,
Scriptor

Dear Leonid,

The names of the authors of "Embargo: Mirage vs. MIG" are Y. Ben-Porat
and Uri Dan. Dan is a journalist closely aligned with Ariel Sharon,
Ben Porat was a general in the Israeli Army (IDF). They published at
least another book together under the pseudonym "Ben Dan" ("The Secret
War: The Spy Game in
The Middle East.", about spying).

I found the book in its Hebrew version for sale (used, it is out of
print, since it was published in 1968) from two people, both published
in "Find a Book .co.il":

<http://www.findabook.co.il/main/book_details.asp?id=2164362> - 23 NIS
(= about $6).

<http://www.findabook.co.il/main/book_details.asp?id=1529940> - 30 NIS (= about $7)

I found no other copies for sale (you may try in used book stores in
Israel). However, I found several library copies, which you can order
also from outside Israel, through inter-library loan:

Kaye College of Education

Sapir Academic College

Ben Guirion University

Beit Berl College

Jordan Valley College Library

Knesset Library

Tel Aviv University. Library of Social Sciences and Management

Bloomfield Library for Humanities and Social Sciences, Mount
Scopus

Tel Aviv University. Sourasky Central Library (also in French
http://valeph.tau.ac.il/ALEPH/ENG/TAU/AAC/AAC/FIND-ACC/0067269)

University of Haifa. Library

Open University of Israel. Library

Oranim-Academic College of Education, the Kibbutz Movement.
Oranim Library

Shaar-Zion-Bet Ariela. Library

Kibbutzim College of Education Library

Jewish National and University Library

Tel-Hai Academic College Library

The library holding information is available from the Union List of
Israel <http://aleph2.libnet.ac.il/F/?func=file&file_name=start-main&local_base=uli01>.
Please note, that the Jewish National and University Library is
supposed to hold every book published in the Hebrew language in Israel
(similarly to the Library of Congress in the United States).

If you prefer the book in other languages:

The French store "Livre-Rare-Book" offers the book (called in French
L'embargo. Paris, 1970.) for EUR6
<http://www.livre-rare-book.com/Matieres/gd/3036b.html> - you could
see it more clearly using Google's "cache" funcion:

Dear Sir,
Could you please help me order this book in French?

Dear Leonid,

For Amazon.fr

1. Go to <http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000DP8Z5/qid%3D1071492801/sr%3D1-8/ref%3Dsr%5F1%5F0%5F8/171-6124473-8826661>

2. Click on the link "D'occasion"

3. That will lead you to
<http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/tg/detail/offer-listing/-/B0000DP8Z5/used/171-6124473-8826661>.

4. Click on "Activer l'option d'achat en 1-Click"

5. You will reach a window, that asks you for your username and
password (if you are already an Amazon.com user), or to fill in your
email address and to choose "Non, vous êtes un nouveau client", if
you're not.

6. From that stage on, if you're an existing Amazon client, you'll
have only to fill in your details (where you want it to be shipped,
etc.). If you're not an existing user, you'll have to set up an
account - entering your details such as Credit Card number, billing
address, and of course - the address to which you want to book to be
sent.

7. Voila!

For Livre-Rare-Book:

1. One copy is at this store
<http://www.livre-rare-book.com/Matieres/Paillon.html> - and costs EUR
6. You have to write to them or talk with them to arrange the
purchase.

2. Another copy is at
<http://www.livre-rare-book.com/Matieres/Kabottine.html>, again,
you'll have to write to this store or phone them.

I hope that helped.
