I'm seeking a wider audience for the monthly computer tips and tricks
column I've been writing for the St. Augustine [FL] Record since July.
I'm already well aware of the large syndication outfits that I could
solicit, and so what I'm looking for here are some newspaper-specific
leads. Any suggestions?

This question assumes that some of you GA researchers actually have
connections with newspapers, at least to the extent that you'd have a
feel for whether certain editors would be receptive to an approach.
Perhaps I'm asking too much, huh?

Note to all Researchers: 

Earlier, I made the mistake of posting a comment in the answer space. 
Here is the comment I made:

Have you considered writing a weekly column? As someone who has been
in the newspaper business, I think that a weekly column would be more
marketable.

And here is Nautico-ga's response, which was deleted along with my "answer."

I have tried to get my editor to increase the frequency of my column
to weekly, but he won't budge, nor will be explain the reason. I'd be
fully prepared to turn one out every week.

I like your columns. I would try targeting computer magazines and
newspapers. Start regionally then expand from there.
