Exotic/Super-Luxury cars were approximately 7,000 units or $1.5
billion annually. Sales of Ultra-Luxury/Prestige Sports Coupe were
approximately 30,000 units per year or $3 billion annually. U.S. sales
are predicted to almost double over the next five years.
According to the German Institute for Automotive Business, the global
demand for luxury cars will increase 20% by 2008.

According to R.L. Polk & Co., luxury cars are experiencing strong sales.
Registration totalled 6,187 in the first 10 months of 2002.
Registrations in 2001 were 9,516.
The number of super luxury cars registered through October 2002 is
nearly equal to registrations in 1999 and 2000 combined.
