I'm looking for a specific .mid file (midi) to use as a ringtone for
my phone. I'ld like to use "Miss Gulch's Theme" from the Wizard of Oz
(it's the music that's played any time the Wicked Witch of the West
comes onscreen). It was also used in Ally McBeal whenever Ling
entered a scene. I've searched and searched to no avail (lot's of
"Ding Dong the Witch is dead", however)

I haven't found a midi yet, but I wanted to verify that I'm looking
for the right thing. Here is a wav file of the melody that I think
you're wanting:

Is that the right tune? If so, I'll continue on the hunt for a midi file.

This was harder than I expected! As you mentioned, "Ding Dong the
Witch is Dead" is everywhere, but I haven't be able to find a midi of
the "Miss Gulch" theme, just the wav linked above. Hope another
Researcher can help.

I tried a bit more searching, but still haven't found a midi. I guess
there isn't much demand for this tune, though I would think that
bicycling enthusiasts might enjoy having this as a ringtone.

I basically converted the WAV file above into a MIDI. Its a bit crude,
but works. Download from http://www.ring-tones.us/free_ringtones.mid

If you dont know how to get the tone onto your phone, contact me!

That website doesn't respond!

How am I supposed to contact you?

Oops... it does work. You're right, it is a bit crude (I'm not sure I
would have figured out what the tune was if I didn't already know!)
