I guess something might be wrong. The ISBN you provided matches no
title with Casa da Palavra?s online catalogue. (Actually, I couldn?t
find any book with that ISBN in any of the book finders engines I
tried). No title with the word ?café? in it is in the publisher?s
catalogue either. There might be hundreds of Brazilian books with the
word café in its title, do you remember anything else, such as a
subtitle? Maybe the author? Another possible publisher?
I?ve found two titles that could be related to the subject of the one
you?re looking for: O Café -na historia,no folclore, nas belas-artes;
Magalhães, Basílio de; Cia. Ed. Nacional. ?O Cafe no Estado

I was shown the book on a recent trip to Brazil. I carefuly copied
down the ISBN and thought that is all I would need. It is a book about
the coffee industry in Brazil. The author has conections with the
large farm "Vista Alegre Coffee" and the Brazilian Specialty Coffee
Association.

Do you think it was a recent book, or something published a while ago?

I think you may be on to it at the site under comments below O Café ?
Ambientes e Diversidade. I suspect it is the first one you list, the
one from brazil. I think it is between it's 2nd and 3rd edtions. I
think you are getting close
