Hi, I'm looking into being a librarian as a career field, so I have
several questions. What are the pros and cons of being a librarian?
What type of librarian is "hot" on the market these days -- which
fields are most lucrative? What does a librarian do with information
technology, as in, does he/she do computer programming? What is boring
about being a librarian? What are the best schools for getting an MLS?

I, or another Researcher, might be interested in answering your
questions.  I recently considered some of the same issues before
applying to library school; and I know that other Researchers also
have great interest in librarianship.

I believe that answering these several questions well will require
more time and effort than the average amount of time and effort
