Dear bolfor,

Your question has been posted for a while - so I thought I would give
you the best leads I was able to find. It was not easy to sort through
the many useless links, but I hope I can provide something that you
had not already considered:

According to articles I have read, many female wrestlers do not have
much choice other than to train and compete with males (due to their
lesser numbers). So the strategy of becoming involved in a wrestling
club with a number of female members may be quite a reasonable

Personal site listings may be another strategy, but because of the low
number of women wrestlers compared to women, I would suggest that a
better strategy would be to look for women partners where you would
find higher concentrations of women wrestlers or body builders.

Although The Rangiora Wrestling Club doesn't list the number of female
members. It does list a number of female divisions and runs female
training camps.
The cached page at google had a number of Auckland references:

Another possibility is Auckland Wrestling, however they don’t seem to
have a website to indicate their female membership or whether they are
involved with Pro Wrestling event organization.

Ozguru,My apologies for rating your question before your
clarification. Blame it on Google that prompted a "Please rate this
question " request when I logged in. Only after I rated the question I
read that I should have waited for your clarification.

Dear bolfor,

I am very sorry that you were not happy with the answer provided.

As you can well imagine, I did find many, many sites dealing with
female wrestling. However, I did not pursue the vast majority of the
links when their emphasis seemed to be the provision of erotic photos
rather than wrestling. I also passed over many other sites as they
concentrated on female-female wrestling or female wrestling outside
New Zealand. (Female wrestling appears to be a much more popular sport
in North America.)

Thus, my listed links would have excluded BJ’s Fetish Wrestling Page
on the above basis: sites listing BJ’s page generally emphasised
erotic wrestling.
However, once you have found a relevant link, it can be used to find
others. For example, entering “BJ’s Fetish Wrestling Page” into Google
provides a number of possible sites. Also clicking on the “similar
pages” link for the aforementioned sites provides more possible
sites…. I did notice that one site provided “Wrestling Contacts, Women
who will wrestle you”.

Entering the web address of a broken link such as the one you
mentioned: into will show you an archived version of the page.
The latest page available was October 13, 2001, however others may
also be of interest.

Following the advice of Google Answers FAQ, I have avoided listing
mature content or personal details, whilst endeavouring to provide a
high quality answer. I sincerely hope that this clarification, at
least provides you with some helpful search strategies.

Reason this answer was rejected by bolfor-ga:
The answer did not provide me with a single contact with a female
wrestler. the links suggested were about wrestling as a sport and not
male/female wrestling wich is a very different thing from the sport.
Websites that could contain some information (and i was already aware
of) such as BJ Wrestling and weren't even
I acknowledge the efforts os the researcher as well as his good
manners, however the main point my question was not answered.

Though a very specific issue, I expected the research to point me to a
more clear direction, which it didn't.

Also, you might join the mailing list at this address:

where you will find a link to Team Auckland Multisport at It is an organization to help
individuals going to the Gay Games, but it may also prove to be a
source for meeting lesbians interested in wrestling.

Again, I hope this information helps, and I consider this query to be
very appropriate for research.
