Hi bizzycar, I recently answered a question regarding removing permanent marker. In order to check whether the product recommended will work on rug fabrics (of any kind) I phoned to double check, and it will work on virtually any fabric. The product is Amodex® ink and stain remover which is what Sharpie/Sandford recommends. The product will remove any ink stain on virtually any fabric or surface. Best of all, it will work as well after two weeks or after two hours. Amodex is available by contacting Fahrney's Pens Inc. http://www.fahrneyspens.com/contactUs.asp?UID=2003121816404070 Customer Service: 1-800-336-4775 9 am - 5:30 pm EST Monday - Friday Fax: 301-736-2926 24 hours email: custserv@fahrneyspens.com The product is sold in a bottle which is a paste. The 4 oz container $9.95 - use a toothbrush or a cloth or purchase 2 bottles (4 oz and 1 oz) and comes with a brush $15.95 I spoke with customer service and the product can be mailed out as soon as you phone them. This will work! =============================================================================== Sharpie/Sanford http://www.sharpie.com/sanford/consumer/sharpie/home/contactus.jhtml You can also call our Consumer Affairs staff at Sanford Corporation between the hours of 7:30 am 5 pm CST, Monday through Friday at 1-800-323-0749. =============================================================================== AMODEX STAIN REMOVER for permanent ink: Amodex Products P.O.
