What is the storage limit of a 5.5 floppy diskette?

There is no such thing as a 5.5" floppy disk or drive...5.25" is
probably what you mean. In that case, the storage capacity is 360k
for a low density disk and 1.2MB for a high density. You can tell at
a glance which kind of disk you have by looking at the spindle hole in
the middle of the disk. If there is a raised ring around its edge
then it's a 360k disk. If there is no ring, then it's a 1.2MB.

What is the memory that a computer used for commercial purpose supposed to have?

That depends entirely on what the commercial purpose is. If you are
doing CAD/CAM, rendering, or digital video production you will
probably want a least 1GB of RAM these days. On the other hand, a CPA
or an author can get away with a junker system running Windows 98 on
64MB of RAM. The specs of a computer is determined by its purpose,
not whether it's used commercially or not.

What software is to be downloaded to rapidly increase the speed of a computer?

You are getting into the realm of overclocking. There are a few
programs that can go into your hardware and tweak the clock rate of
your motherboard to make your processor run faster, but you must
exercise extreme caution when you do this kind of thing. It IS
possible for your CPU to melt down if you clock it up too much.
Without adequate cooling and enough tweakage, you must might make your
computer into a very expensive paperweight. That said, an example of
the software you are asking about can be found here:

Hope this helps!

It would be a much better idea to buy more memory in many cases, and
in some cases a new processor. It really isn't that costly.

Hi osamah,

I hope you might find these information useful.

What is the storage limit of a 5.5 floppy diskette?
Answer:
I strongly doubt if there is a particular type of floppy disk with a
5.5" dimension. The first floppy disk invented at IBM was an 8 inch
disk, later was modified into a 5.25 inch(which could be your
specification) and had very little storage capacity compared to
today's 3.5 inch disk.

In short, the 5.25 inch floppy disk can hold upto 360 KB (kilobytes)
of data. And, the most common floppy disk available today -- the 3.5
inch can hold upto 1.44 MB (megabytes) of data.

What is the memory that a computer used for commercial purpose supposed to have?
Answer:
We can answer this question in several ways. The appropriate answer
would be... Suppose, you are planning to use your computer in a
Graphic Designing firm. You will have to deal with memory hungry
programs like Adobe Photoshop etc. Even though Adobe Photoshop can run
nicely on a 256MB RAM. If you have the financial capability, it's
always the best to opt for at least 512MB RAM. So, you won't have to
worry about if you have to open two three large files for editing
purposes.

Secondly, A flawless graphics card which is called as a Display
Adapter. This is something normal computer consumers don't really care
about when they plan to purchase a computer. Now a days, most of the
PCs come with a 32 MB graphics card. For a graphics design firm, the
minimum recommended is a 64MB graphics card.

But, if we plan to use our PC just for normal office works like Word
Processing, Spreadsheeting and Accounting, little bit of gaming and a
medium level of graphics designing etc... a normal PC with a 256 MB
RAM and a 32 MB graphics card would be more than enough!

(this is something I tell from my personal experience)

What software is to be downloaded to rapidly increase the speed of a computer?
Answer:
Actually, you should understand... There is no virtual software which
can be used to speed up a computer "rapidly". Of course, you can speed
up your PC if you follow some useful tips, and without buying or
downloading any particular software.

1) Clear your TEMP file folder, can take up around 1GB if left unnoticed
2) Clear your Temporary Internet Files at least every 2 days
3) Clear your History cache in your browser
4) Norton 2003 has a feature which saves deleted files
5) Run ScanDisk and Defragment your hard drive every 1 week
6) Make sure you install only programs "IF" necessary. Almost all the
programs save registry setting on your PC and they will remian intact
even if we uninstall the software. So, what happens here is... Windows
Registry is accessed every second by several running programs and your
OS. So, the smaller the registry the faster the program will find the
values needed
7) Keep your System Tray always clean and prevent unecessary programs
from running if you really don't need it.

Well, these are come of the stuff I really feel can be helpful to you.
Happy Holidays!
