Hello. The book was indeed called "The Cattle King." The author was Edward Treadwell. It was first published in 1931. Here is the Library of Congress catalog entry: http://catalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?v3=1&DB=local&CMD=010a+31010243&CNT=10+records+per+page The book has been republished several times. There are editions from 1950, 1966, 1981, 1998 and 2003. A copy of the 1981 edition is available from a dealer listed on Abebooks.com for $7. See: Treadwell, Edward F.
