Burger king is selling some surprisingly nice-looking Christmas
ornaments with every Value Meal this year.
It got me thinking - do these items ever attain any collector's value?

Hi PCVentures ~

As a matter of fact, the restaurant/fast food promotion items are
collectibles. There's a whole very serious culture out there with the
collectibles (or "premiums") with price guides, catalogs, and current
information/newsletters. Some of the collectibles, especially when in
mint condition, fetch some surprising prices after a few years.

I've included some from Burger King first, since you specifically
asked about that, and then some other fast food restaurants so you can
get an idea of how serious this type of collecting is.

After researching this, I don't even want to think about how many of
those I tossed out [groan]!

Hang on to those ornaments and keep them in mint condition.

Nice answer, very quick - thanks! Unfortunately, it doesn't look like
it'll turn out to be the moneymaking racket I was hoping for... :(
