"Squares" is usually a measurement of roof area. One square equals 100
square feet. Is that what you mean?

Or in the old-fashioned way:

1 meter = 3.281 feet
3.281 X 3.281 = 10.764 sq. ft. (1 square meter)
100/10.764 = 9.29 sq. meters
