I recall this song from the radio during 1995-1996. It played on
Montreal radio stations (I'm sure it was popular around North
America).
Part of the lyrics were: "Why are you crying? Why are you crying?
Leave me alone.
Why are you crying
'cuz my heart is like a stone"

I've tried many searches on google.  I hope this is enough to go on. 
I'm sure part of the lyrics are somewhere in the title.
Song name and band name is requested.
