Hi again!
Good, music heavy 80's sites are pretty hard to come by, unless you
want to count the ones that are only selling music, but I think I've
found a solid handful that you'll enjoy:
Pure 80s Pop
http://www.pure80spop.co.uk/
Although it focuses primarily on the UK music scene, there's no
question that this is one of the more detailed 80s music sites on the
'net. How many of your favorite 80's tunes were from British bands?
Best about this site:
-- LiveAid details, including who took the stage, at which venue, and when
-- Links list to websites for 80's bands, listed from A - Z
(I'd also call the "What They Look Like Now" photo section a strong
point, but I don't think I really needed to see that Adam Ant has
shaved his head and now looks ridiculous.)
Retro Rewind with Dave Harris
http://www.retrorewind.com/
No downsides here! Interviews, photos, exclusive performances and
what's new with 80's favorites, this site is - no kidding - awesome.
Oh, wait - one down side. If you want to hear the juicy bits, you'll
need to install RealPlayer.
In the 80s - Music
http://www.inthe80s.com/music.shtml
"In the 80s" has a terrific music section, including:
-- Music Trivia
-- Album Reviews
-- Lyrics quizzes
-- 80s music in commercials
Also intriguing: a side by side comparison of Nena's "99
Luftballons". (I may be biased here. My phone rings this tune.)
80-89
http://www.eightyeightynine.com/music/index.html
http://www.eightyeightynine.com/musicvideo/index.html
Impressive array of misheard lyrics, trivia, and top 40 hit lists.
Holy cow, did we seriously listen to Eddie Rabbitt?? Hit the second
link for 80's video clips information.
The Interactive 80s Site
http://i80s.com/
A good mix of Music (MP3s, CDs, video information, and charts),
culture and all things 80's.
And some Extras:
Club977
http://www.club977.com/
The only *real* 80's content - all 80's music, streamed all the time!
Like, Omigod, It's 80s Music!
http://pub94.ezboard.com/flikeomigoditsthe80sfrm1
An 80s discussion community. Great fun, hilarious trivia.
One Hit Wonders - the 80s
http://www.onehitwondercentral.com/80s.cfm
It's not a trip to the 80s without the One Hit Wonders of the decade!
Fun listing of artist, song, year of release, and links to albums,
reviews and pages.
Mike's 80's Mixes
http://www.hyperreal.org/~mikew/80s.html
Content rich only in the sense that it's all 80s music mixes - DJ
mixed MP3s! Something of interest, not intended to be part of the
list. Some obscure songs, as well as some that hit the top of the
charts.
...and for more 80s fun:

Thanks so much for a fun question. What a terrific trip back in time!

Good morning!
For band images, the best place to get them is on the band pages.
This site (from the answer above) has a directory with links to band
pages:
Pure 80s Pop - Bands and Artists A- Z
http://www.pure80spop.co.uk/bandlinksabc.htm
Driko's 80s Music Pages contains a similar directory (and a handful of
images), but it's not terribly comprehensive:
Driko's 80s Music
http://www.driko.org/80s_music.html#groups
Lyrics archives, oddly, are usually separate from comprehensive
information sites. This is most likely due to personal preference of
the webmaster - where one is going to be interested in the lyrics,
another is going to be devoted to Morten Harket's hair. Still, there
are a number of sites specializing in lyrics:
One that was included in the quiz answer:
80s Music Lyrics (Lyrics navigation is on the right)
http://www.80smusiclyrics.com/
yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah! lyrics (Select 80s from the left)
http://yeahx3.ionichost.com/
Ultimate 80s Songs
http://www.afn.org/~afn30091/80songs.html
My favorite 80s lyrics archive is no longer active, but you can still
get to it throught the Internet Archive Wayback Machine:
Radish's Little Collectioh of 80s Lyrics
http://web.archive.org/web/20020208130002/http://www.public.iastate.edu/~htaylor/lyrics.html
Zel's 80's Lyrics
http://www.angelfire.com/me2/zelsparkbench/80slyrics.html
Hope this helps!
