I am uncertain as to how you would like me to clarify my question. You
have given me a number of names to follow up on. I am looking for
someone located in Long Island or Manhattan.

I guess a good fall back would a "virtual" provider.

Thanks

Hello again Brookville,

I received a reply from the Executive Director of Long Island Golf Association
( jdonahue@prodigy.net ) . He said that he?s not aware of any sports
psychologists on the island, but you might contact ?The Long Island
Golfer? magazine at 516-822-5446 as they are closer touch with ?golf
support? activities than they are.

I sent them an email and will let you know when they reply.

I will also search for virtual providers.

Thanks,
Bobbie7

Dear Brookville,

I contacted a number of golf associations in the Long Island area
about sports psychologists in golf. Unfortunately, they replied that
weren?t aware of any sports psychologists in that area.

You stated in your clarification ?I guess a good fall back would a
virtual provider.?

I then reviewed numerous golf related websites and sport psychology
associations and other related links and chose the most qualified
sports psychologists in golf that provide virtual consultations.

Hi Brookville!

I haven?t had any luck in locating the best sport psychologists in
golf in the Long Island area.

There are many expert golf psychologists in other locations such as
Dr. Richard Coop and Dr. David Cook.

A short excerpt form Sports Illustrated:

We're very fortunate to have on our campus Dr. Richard Coop, whom many
people consider the best sports psychologist in the world. He and Dr.
David Cook did the mental toughness seminar with our whole team last
Saturday morning. ?

In any case, I have sent out a couple of email inquiries asking for
recommendations for golf sport psychologists in the Long Island Area.

When they reply I will let you know.
