Reportedly, 73% of women believe that they have above average intelligence.

What does this tell us?

It tells me that 27% of women are too modest to commit to an answer or
too busy with far more important issues to take a survey.

Since I am a former test proctor for Mensa, these figures don't
surprise me. Most folks seem to have a hard time seeing themselves as
"average" (or -- even worse -- "below average".) I doubt that women
are any more vain in this regard than men.

Perhaps 73% of women have an IQ of 110, and the other 27% have an IQ of 73.

If you have 10 people, 9 of them have an IQ of 100, and the tenth an
IQ of 99, then the average IQ will be 99.9, so 90% will be above
average intelligence.

It tells us at at most 27% of women are pretty darn unhappy with
themselves, or have low self-esteem.  After all, who would in their
right mind feel below average about anything?

It also tell us that 23% [73%-50%] of the women don't have a
statistically realistic self impression about themselves, and are
obviously overconfident of their intellectual abilities.
