Okay, I was dumb and paid $75 to register a domain w/ Network
Solutions for 3 years (yes, I know I should have asked first, or at
least looked at the answers already here). When I went to the hosting
company, www.livin4.com, which claims to be officed near my home, they
want $9.95 to "transfer registrars."
For $3--will I just be throwing away the $75 I spent with Network
Solutions? For a $2 tip, is Livin4's offer of $15/yr. hosting too
good to be true? I haven't committed, yet. For a $10 tip, tell me
how to get my $75 back from Network Solutions (payable on receipt of
money from NS)

Sorry in advance to be so cheap--if I'd only researched in advance,
I'd have more to spend on these answers! Thanks!
