I'm looking for a website which sold artwork that when viewed directly
on screen (or, I assume, when viewed anywhere up close) looked like a
grid of squares, with different squares painted different colors.
Simple.
However, when you got far away from the picture it looked unmistakably
like hardcore pornography. It's the same concept as that famous
picture of Abe Lincoln that when viewed up close looks like a bunch of
light and dark squares. See the following link for this example:

I read your question last week and did a quick search and found
nothing, but I remembered those cool photo mosaics made from small
porn pics, that when viewed from a distance looked like something
else, something inappropriate, like The Last Supper painting. Just
for fun, I started searching for those. I know you don't want those,
but I did.
Quite by accident, I ran across a site that has what you are looking
for. Let me know if this is what you seek, and if so, I will post the
link in the ANSWER BOX, which is how I can collect the $5.00 you are
offering.

Select a painting and it will appear above the index. Each one will
do this. They are definitely solid colored squares that when viewed
from afar, are pornographic. I wouldn't call them "hardcore," but
perhaps we have different opinions as to what hardcore is.

By "other photo mosaics" do you mean the ones that are small porn pics
up close, and far away make another pic? If so, I haven't found those
yet, but
I will. I guess now I have a good reason to find them! Your question

I'm thrilled that the Adam Connelly prontings are what you were

Yes, the other photo mosaics are the ones that are small pornographic

....5 days left, been working long hours... I have not found the
photo mosaics I described -yet, although I know for a fact they are
out there. I have seen them. I may just post my answer as is, for
finding the right artist for you, on the last day the question is
open, and post the extra link later as a clarification. I WILL FIND
IT. I just may not find it in time...
You won't have an opportunity to tip me for the extra info then, --but
oh well, my loss. All I _really_ want is for you to be a satisfied
