kurt714-ga:

The Panasonic KX-TG2481B supports remote interaction with the built-in
answering machine through any touch tone telephone that is capable of
calling your phone number.

Pages 58-62 of the user manual for this device covers the process in
great detail. You can find an online copy of the user manual at:

http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG2481B.PDF

To summarize, in order to retrieve messages remotely you need to:

1. Call your phone number, and wait for the answering machine to pick up the call;
2. While your prerecorded greeting is playing, enter your two-digit
remote code (see p. 59 for instructions on setting this code, the
factory default is 11);
3. Follow the voice menu that the answering machine recites to you; to
retrieve all messages, the key to press is '1'.

I hope that this helps.
