Hi declan!

There aren't that many it would seem, as I found just one!

...................................................

"DOUG SIMON"

From Doug's web page:

"This is Doug Simon, a Salvador resident for the past five years.
After selling his place in Beverly Hills, California and buying and
rebuilding a house in Salvador's neighborhood of Santo Antônio, Doug
went on to build a beach house north of Salvador, and then bought and
rebuilt an apartment in the neighborhood of Porto da Barra.

Doug's taking advantage of the experience he's already garnered in his
private dealings and is studying for his Bahian real estate license.
Upon passing the test (in early 2004) his specialty will be foreigners
wishing to purchase real estate in Bahia.

If you want to get a jump on things, Doug's e-mail is
doug.simon@bahia-online.net, or you can call him at 55 (Brazil's
country code) 71 (Salvador's city code) 9132-9155."

I would approach this question/search somewhat differently. Since most
real "local" estate agents in Brazil may not speak English, they may
not have sites with such information. Also because you are
(presumably) in the US looking for "international properties" in
Brazil, you need to structure your search differently.

And, if what you are looking for are agents that sell properites in
Salvadore (Bahia, Salvador) Brazil, and realizing that most sites
listing properties would not be indexed by Google, I would do this:

Go to www.google.com/advanced_search and fill in this info:
with all the words - Salvadore Brazil
with the exact phrase - real estate
(leave the rest of the fields blank, then...)

Language Return pages written in English

You would get some good and bad results, but a few that might help if
you are looking to purchase homes in Salvadore Brazil include:

http://www.viviun.com/Real_Estate/Brazil/
http://realestate.escapeartist.com/Properties/Brazil/
(on this site, there's a place for $55K in Salvador)
If you click on the property off to the right is a US phone
number/email address for the agent representing this property.

Hope that helps. I use the advanced search page to get me the info I
need and it almost never fails
that lists properties in Brazil, some within the area you are looking
for. (Listings change so you may or may not find the same results I
do.)
